Respect

Women are earth,
Women are the birth,
Women are the one who made you born.

They cook,
They clean,
They are grateful in everything.

Most men hurt,
Most men act dope,
But men are men,

 Hi, my name is Lizeth Arroyo. I am in the 8th grade in the school Urban Promise Academy for three year. I can say that does three years are the best years of my life. I want everybody to know that the teachers here are very smart, honest, perseverant, delightful, friendly, loving, and also very good leaders. They were the friendly people that showed me hoe to perserver and showed me how to be honest with everybody and also respectful. Well that's what I have to say about the school I attend to.

Slave Life

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
but when it came to slavery,
there was nothing sweet,
Only work to do.

Hearts were broken,
Independence was chained,
Liberty was on their mind,
Liberation was their crime,
but all they think of,
that they were slaves without their rights,
that they were slaves always committing crimes.
